We ensure that we have delivered a finished product that you are proud to showcase to family and friends.

From the initial inquiry stage to the final construction, no detail is overlooked. We will help to carefully guide you through each stage of the process and ensure your comfortable and satisfied every step of the way!

About The Process

New Build Process

Whether you own a property or you’re wanting to build your home or cottage on, interested in one of our communities, or individual properties, we always have options to begin. From your initial inquiry to our first consultation, we will have developed the beginning of the custom home or cottage process.

Meet

When building in our communities we follow a process that consists of three deposits. 1. Lot Reservation; pick your lot and reserve it. 2. Non-Refundable Plans Agreement fee; we develop your custom plans set for a permit. 3. Agreement of Purchase and Sale; the final deposit before starting construction.

Finalize Plans

We work with a very experienced team when it comes to designing your next home or cottage. Every project has its own custom plan, uniquely developed for your lifestyle and requests. We have yet to complete the same build twice, and we will continue to develop new properties that are uniquely custom.

Schedule Reviews

Once our contract is complete, it’s time to choose final finishes. No, we don’t sit in an office and select your finished. Our standards are higher than just a small board of options. Our team will assist to customize your home and finishes with all the latest trends in design at all our local suppliers.

Visit

Seeing the hole being dug, the foundation going in, the framing and structure of your home take shape, and watching the entire process of building your home or cottage is extremely exciting. Our process allows our clients to visit our sites and be involved in every step of the build.

Warranty

We believe in the quality of work we do, which is why we have a new home warranty program for new homes built in Ontario. 1953409 Ontario Ltd which operates Jackson Developments is a registered builder/vendor (45424) with TARION.
